The Western Whalers Football Club was established in 2000 as a member of the AFL Masters Football WA known as the Whalers and awarded Best Club for 2003, we are one of the 16 teams participating in the Perth Metropolitan Area.

If you are over 30 years plus and still have the desire and fitness to play a modified version of Australian Rules Football, even if you don't know a lot about the Sport we are more than happy to have you come and train with the club.
The Masters Australian Football (MAF) provides the opportunity for players to enjoy Aussie Rules Football in a safe, supportive and fun environment Masters Australian Football Australia has a national standardised set of modified rules designed to reduce the risks of injury and has the benefit of being acknowledged and supported by the AFL and the Australian Sports Commission. The MAF W.A. fosters clubs with an emphasis on family involvement and fun social interaction.

We currently have two teams being the Supers and the Masters
The Supers are the 35 Years and over with the allowance of 2 x players aged 30 + years to play during a game.
The Masters are the 40 Years and over.

We train every Thursday Night 5:30pm at Abbott Park Deanmore Road, Scarborough and generally play every 2nd sometimes 3rd Sunday.
